Bring and Buy Sale in aid of Ardgowan Hospice Charity

Wednesday 21st October 2020. 6.30p.m. – 9.00p.m. in the Village Centre, Kilmacolm

  This exciting event will be absolutely dependent on our return to careful, safe, easing of restrictions ).

We hope that it will be possible to hold an exciting, uplifting, sociable, charitable event to kick-start the Autumn syllabus.

Bring along donations to the tables, and come along with your friends to take part in the Bring and Buy Sale. Fundraising from the evening will be donated to Ardgowan Hospice.

Please bring to the tables:

FLOWERS, GARDEN PRODUCE

CRAFT WORK, KNITTING, CROCHET

HOMEBAKING, APPLES, CHUTNEY, JAM

POTS OF BULBS.

COFFEE MORNING – SATURDAY 16th MAY 2020

The K.H.S. regret that our annual Coffee Morning and Plant Sale planned for the 16th May is cancelled.  In a few weeks’ time, Parklea Garden Centre telephone 01475 744516 will have a stock of summer bedding plants, hanging baskets, geraniums, vegetable trays etc, ready for sale. Further details are enclosed.

 

SUMMER OUTING – WEDNESDAY 13th MAY 2020

Our Summer outing to Geilston Gardens, Ardardan Nurseries and Farm Shop, Hill House at Helensburgh, planned for Wednesday 13th May is cancelled. For those members who have paid for the Outing – your cheque is void, and returned with this letter. We look forward to many more Outings when the country once again allows us to enjoy, admire, visit the scenic attractions in Scotland, together as a group.

 

ANNUAL FLOWER SHOW –

SATURDAY 5TH SEPTEMBER 2020

Due to the ongoing restrictions and the need to keep everyone safe, we are unable to run the show in the traditional format this year. Instead we encourage you to enter our Virtual Flower Show 2020. Please photograph your entries and email them to kilmacolmhorticulturalsociety@gmail.com. Please include your full name and the category you are entering. You will be able to browse through everyone’s entries on Saturday 5th September on this website.
